São Paulo Carnival 2027 Samba Schools Reveal New Enredos

The Dom Bosco samba school of Itaquera presented its 2027 samba‑enredo, “O Auto do Boi – Morte e Ressurreição da Lenda do Touro Negro no Reino de Guaré”. The work, developed by carnavalesco Fábio Gouveia and a team of composers and performers, earned the school a bicampeonato in the Grupo de Acesso I eliminatory.

Morro da Casa Verde also unveiled its 2027 theme, “Reconto Minha Fé: O Conto de um Ponto Catimbozeiro”, under carnavalesco Ulisses Bara. The enredo’s lyrics were written by a collective that includes Douglas Chocolate and other local composers, and the samba will be sung by vocalist Wantuir. Both schools are scheduled to parade on Sunday, 7 February 2027 at São Paulo’s Sambódromo Anhembi.

These presentations mark the latest preparations for the city’s Carnival, highlighting the involvement of veteran and emerging artists in the cultural celebration.
