São Paulo offers 1,200 free cultural and creative training spots

The São Paulo Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries has announced the opening of approximately 1,200 free training positions for the current semester. Aimed at cultural professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals in vulnerable social situations, the program offers courses through the CultSP Pro platform.

The opportunities are divided into 861 in-person positions across 45 different courses and 395 online positions across 11 virtual courses. In-person activities will be distributed across 11 municipalities in the state of São Paulo, including the capital, Campinas, and Santos, managed by the Instituto de Desenvolvimento e Gestão.

The curriculum covers diverse areas of the creative economy, such as game narrative and scripting, audiovisual executive production, Brazilian documentary theory, editorial design, and cultural entrepreneurship. Other specialized topics include Libras, jewelry making, and gastronomy.

To qualify, applicants must be at least 16 years old and have completed elementary school.
