São Paulo FC faces four-month delay in player image rights payments
São Paulo FC is facing significant delays in paying image rights to its players. On average, the squad is owed payments for the last four months, covering June through September. Some individual players report even longer delays, with some cases reaching up to six months of unpaid image rights.
This situation is compounded by previous debts. Under the current management, an agreement was reached to settle old arrears in ten equal installments. However, these installments have also fallen behind, leading to increased dissatisfaction within the squad. Some mid-year signings have reportedly not received any image rights payments since joining the club.
