São Paulo FC selects Ticketmaster to manage Morumbis tickets
São Paulo FC has selected Ticketmaster Brasil to manage ticket sales for the Morumbis stadium, replacing the current administrator, Total Acesso. The deal, which awaits approval from the club's Administrative and Deliberative Councils, includes a financial injection where Ticketmaster will advance R$ 110 million to the club as a loan. This amount will be repaid over five years using revenue from Morumbis matches, with monthly repayments capped at R$ 1.8 million.
Beyond ticket sales, the proposal includes Ticketmaster managing the 'Camarote 29A' corporate space for five years in exchange for an additional R$ 30 million payment. The company will also have a role in musical event operations at the stadium. Furthermore, the club intends to transfer its 'Sócio-torcedor' (fan membership) program management to Ticketmaster to consolidate services and improve the user experience.
Administrative fees for fans are expected to be up to 10% per ticket, depending on whether the entry is digital or physical. The club anticipates that combining ticket management and membership services under a single provider will reduce overall costs.
