Various regional awards and festivals announced in Brazil

Several awards and cultural events have been announced across Brazil. In São Paulo, the Campeões da Gastronomia 2026 awards recognized excellence in 33 culinary categories, with Mocotó winning for Brazilian cuisine and Donna leading for Italian cuisine. Additionally, the Folha Gourmet Festival will take place in November at Parque Villa-Lobos, featuring 20 restaurants and musical performances.

In the sports sector, the city of São José dos Campos received the maximum score of 50 points in the Prêmio Selo Amigo do Esporte, awarded by the São Paulo State Sports Secretariat. The recognition highlights the success of the Atleta Cidadão program, which supports youth in 22 different sports modalities. Meanwhile, the 11th Melhores do Esporte awards will honor athletes across 46 modalities in Vitória, Espírito Santo, this December.

In the corporate and social sectors, the VOL 2026 Award will recognize 34 organizations for best practices in volunteer management. Sicoob Paulista also earned recognition in the Lugares Mais Incríveis para Trabalhar 2026 awards, ranking 6th in the banking and financial services sector. Finally, the Wyndham Olímpia Royal Hotels will host the Festival BBQ on November 28, featuring live music and diverse gastronomic stations.
