São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas Secures R$615 million for São Caetano and Leads Party Pre‑Election Rally

Governor Tarcísio de Freitas of São Paulo has deepened his political alliance with São Caetano mayor Tite Campanella, channeling about R$615 million into local projects. The funding covers the R$573 million Piscinão Jaboticabal rain‑water reservoir, a R$15 million neuro‑development and rehabilitation complex, a new school with R$52 million investment, roadway repaving and museum restoration, among other works. Campanella praised the governor as a "great partner" for the city’s infrastructure improvements.

Separately, the national president of the Republicanos party, Deputy Marcos Pereira, met with Governor Tarcísio and pre‑candidates for state and federal offices. The closed‑door gathering aimed to unify party leadership ahead of the October elections, emphasizing the need for strong benches in the state assembly, Chamber of Deputies and Senate. Participants included former governor Rodrigo Garcia and several Senate hopefuls, with Tarcísio stressing the party’s growing role in São Paulo and Brazil.
