São Paulo Modern Art Museum launches Petí restaurant
The Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo (MAM) will open the restaurant Petí on 12 September, marking the museum’s reopening in its Ibirapuera Park site. The launch coincides with the 39th edition of the Panorama of Brazilian Art, the institution’s flagship contemporary art exhibition.
Petí, founded in 2015 by chef Victor Dimitrow and restaurateur Bárbara Camargo, has earned a Bib Gourmand distinction from the Michelin Guide for offering high‑quality cuisine at good value. museum president Elizabeth Machado said the new venue will “integrate gastronomy and cultural programming, inviting visitors to stay, interact and enjoy the museum in different ways.” Access to the restaurant will be independent of exhibition tickets, allowing both museum-goers and park visitors to dine there.
