Osasco’s women’s football team captured the title at the 68th Jogos Regionais, finishing the tournament with wins over Praia Grande (3‑1), Itanhaém (6‑0) and Santos (2‑1) before drawing 0‑0 with Guarujá in the final. Officials highlighted the victory as a boost for female sport ahead of the Women's World Cup, while stressing the need for sustained public investment and infrastructure.

In the same competition, São Bernardo’s swimming squads secured overall vice‑championship, ranking fifth with 90 points. Standout performers included Lorrane, Julia Goes, Julia Ariosa, Kauã Carvalho and Gabriel Machuco. The municipal secretary of Sports said, “O resultado reafirma a tradição da cidade na formação de atletas e no alto rendimento esportivo,” and coach Fernando Vanzella added, “Foi uma campanha muito positiva.
