São Paulo restricts license plates 1 and 2 for vehicle rotation

In São Paulo, the municipal vehicle rotation system restricts vehicles with license plates ending in 1 and 2 on Monday, August 17. These restrictions apply within the Centro Expandido during two specific periods: from 7:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.

The rotation zone includes the area delimited by the Mini Ring Road, covering sections of the Marginal Tietê and Marginal Pinheiros highways, as well as several major avenues such as Avenida dos Bandeirantes and Avenida Professor Luís Inácio de Anhaia Melo. The rules apply to vehicles licensed both within and outside the city.

Violating these restrictions is classified as a medium infraction, carrying a fine of R$ 130.16 and four points on the driver's license.
