São Paulo Samba Schools Prepare for 2027 Carnival

Samba schools in São Paulo have begun preparations for the 2027 Carnival season. Camisa Verde e Branco recorded its audiovisual material at Fábrica do Samba with the theme ‘Ajuruetês – o voo da Terra Brazil’, designed by carnival director Marcus Ferreira. The production features a Brazilian-inspired aesthetic, with performers wearing Panama hats and shirts in green, white, and gold tones.

Império de Casa Verde has announced its theme for 2027, titled ‘Sob o céu do interior, brilha o sonho caipira: Jaguariúna, a capital country do Brasil’. The artistic direction for this project is led by Fábio Ricardo, with research and development by Roberto Vilaronga. The school is scheduled to parade on Saturday, February 6, as part of the Special Group.
