São Paulo Social Fund launches mobile vocational training program
The Caminho da Capacitação program, organized by the São Paulo Social Fund, has commenced its 31st cycle, deploying mobile units to 17 municipalities across the Greater São Paulo region. Using adapted trailers as classrooms, the initiative provides free professional training through November 6.
In partnership with local governments, the curriculum is tailored to regional economic demands. Courses cover high-employability sectors including fashion, beauty and aesthetics, gastronomy, technology, elderly care, and electrical and automotive maintenance. Classes are offered in morning, afternoon, and evening shifts to accommodate students.
Of the 1,187 available spots, remaining vacancies are reported in Embu-Guaçu, Guarulhos, Itapecerica da Serra, Salesópolis, Santo André, and São Bernardo do Campo. Registration for these remaining spots is open until Tuesday (27) or until filled. The program prioritizes vulnerable populations, including the unemployed, individuals registered in CadÚnico, and female heads of households.
