São Paulo Social Fund launches professional training program in 17 cities

The São Paulo Social Fund (FUSSP) is launching the 31st cycle of the ‘Caminho da Capacitação’ program, offering 1,272 free professional qualification spots across 17 municipalities in the Greater São Paulo area. The program utilizes mobile classroom trucks to provide training in various sectors, including gastronomy, technology, beauty, electrical maintenance, automotive repair, and hospitality.

In Mogi das Cruzes, specific courses are being highlighted, such as motorcycle maintenance and Nagô braiding. The motorcycle maintenance course, offered in partnership with the local government, provides 48 vacancies through the mobile units. The Nagô braiding course is a local initiative by the Mogi das Cruzes Social Fund aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in the Afro-aesthetic market.

Registration is open via the official FUSSP website. Priority is given to individuals in social vulnerability, including those registered in CadÚnico, the unemployed, and female heads of household. Most courses consist of 40 hours of theoretical and practical instruction, concluding with a certificate of completion.
