São Paulo Special Group samba schools reveal 2027 Carnival themes

All samba schools in the Special Group of the São Paulo Carnival have officially unveiled their samba-enredos for the 2027 festivities. Following the recent selection by Vai-Vai, the complete lineup of songs for the elite division is now available.

Camisa Verde e Branco presented its theme, ‘Ajuruetês – O Voo da Terra Brasil’, designed by carnival designer Marcus Ferreira. The school, which placed tenth in 2026, is moving toward a tropical theme focused on Brazilian identity. The song was composed by a large group of artists including Claudio Russo, Turko, and Luis Jorge.

The elite parades are scheduled for February 5 and 6, 2027, at the Anhembi Sambadrome. Liga-SP is expected to release an audiovisual production of the songs in early December.
