Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf praises Banyumas social protection agents

Indonesian Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, also known as Gus Ipul, has commended thousands of Social Protection Agents (Perlinsos) in Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The agents have assisted the community in digital re-registration and the updating of social protection data.

During an event at GOR Satria Purwokerto, Yusuf noted that 8,217 individuals from various sectors in Banyumas serve as Perlinsos agents. These agents helped 209,176 households enter the digital social protection system, a figure Yusuf stated is 32.21 percent higher than the national average.

The gathering included 3,540 participants, including neighborhood representatives (RT/RW), social protection operators, and local officials. Yusuf emphasized that collaboration between central and local governments, social pillars, and community leaders is essential for maintaining accurate data to support national welfare.
