Social policy initiatives launched in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

In Croatia, Minister of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy Alen Ružić met with associations working to prevent and combat violence against women. The meeting resulted in an agreement to establish operational working groups. These groups aim to transform individual case experiences into systemic solutions, focusing on stronger prevention by connecting state resources with civil society expertise.

In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Adnan Delić met with representatives from the 'Porodice tri plus' Association and the Center for Social Education of Youth. They discussed an initiative to form a working group to prepare a law on parental rights and benefits. The goal is to unify various existing regulations into a single, accessible legal framework that provides equal conditions for all parents, including employees, the self-employed, and the unemployed. The initiative will analyze models such as the Croatian Law on Maternity and Parental Support.
