Sohag Governor coordinates with parliament to resolve citizen issues

Major General Tarek Rashed, the Governor of Sohag, held meetings to address citizen needs and enhance coordination between executive authorities and parliamentary members of the House of Representatives.

During a meeting with parliamentary members, the Governor emphasized the importance of field work and direct communication to identify local issues and implement solutions within available capacities. The discussions focused on service sectors, developmental files, and removing obstacles to ongoing projects to improve the quality of life in the governorate.

In a separate weekly public meeting, Governor Rashed listened to grievances from citizens across various districts. Key issues raised included private sector job opportunities, state-funded medical treatment, social assistance, and 'Takaful and Karama' pensions. Other requests involved kiosk licensing, support for persons with disabilities, and building violation reconciliation procedures. The Governor instructed officials to expedite the review of these requests, prioritizing humanitarian cases and vulnerable families.
