Solar Energy Corp of India awards 1 GW RTC tender to seven developers
The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) announced the allocation of its 1,000 MW Round‑the‑Clock Thermal Mimic (RTC‑TM) power tender to seven developers. The auction, launched in March 2026, aims to provide firm, dispatchable renewable power that can match the reliability of conventional thermal generation.
Tariffs were set between ₹5.25 and ₹5.26 per kilowatt‑hour. EMIF II Holding V II Coöperatief W. A., Hero Solar Energy Private Limited, PURVAH GREEN POWER Private Limited and RESOLVEN FOUR ENERGY Private Limited each received capacity at the lower ₹5.25/kWh rate, while Hexa Climate Solutions Private Limited and Juniper Green Energy Limited were awarded at ₹5.26/kWh. Juniper Green Energy secured the largest share with 230 MW, followed by KENGERI PRIME SOLAR POWER Private Limited with 180 MW. In total, the seven winners were allocated roughly 1.07 GW of capacity.
