SECI renewable energy capacity auctions

Overview

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) concluded an auction for 1,000 MW of Round-the-Clock (RTC) renewable energy, part of the Green Energy Corridor Phase III program. The tender aims to provide firm, dispatchable renewable power through projects integrated with energy storage systems.

A total of 1,070 MW in capacity was awarded to seven developers. Juniper Green Energy Limited secured the largest portion, initially reported at 230 MW and later updated to 300 MW, at a tariff of ₹5.26 per kWh. Other winners included Hexa Climate Solutions, Kengeri Prime Solar Power, Resolven Four Energy, Hero Solar Energy, EMIF II Holding V II Coöperatief W. A., and Purvah Green Power, with tariffs ranging between ₹5.25 and ₹5.26 per kWh.
