Solar energy projects launched in Argentina and Colombia

In Argentina, the state distributor Enersa is collaborating with the municipality of San Salvador to develop a photovoltaic park. The project, expected to produce between 300 and 500 kWp, aims to diversify the local energy matrix, stabilize distribution lines, and reduce emissions. Site preparation has already begun on land provided by the local government.

In Colombia, the Chicamocha National Park will inaugurate the Panachi Solar 1.8 plant in December. Managed by the Corporación Santandereana de Cultura y Turismo Sostenible (Corsant), the facility is designed to meet the energy demands of the park’s cable car and water park while reducing its carbon footprint. The construction phase provided employment opportunities for local communities, with 75 percent of the workforce hailing from Aratoca and surrounding areas.
