Soledad de Graciano Sánchez bus accident occurs during Mi Metro Red launch

The launch of the ‘Mi Metro Red’ transit route in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez was marked by a collision involving a public transport bus. The accident occurred on Sunday when a Yutong BRT bus, operating on the route connecting the city center to the municipal seat and the airport, struck the rear of a parked double-trailer truck.

The collision resulted in four injuries among passengers and left the bus driver trapped inside the vehicle. Rescuers from the Mexican Red Cross, firefighters, and private medical teams were deployed to the scene on Boulevard San Luis to extract the injured and the driver. Preliminary reports suggest the operator failed to maintain proper speed or distance, leading to the impact.
