Shortly after the launch, a collision occurred involving a Yutong BRT bus operating on the new route. The bus struck the rear of a parked double-trailer truck on Boulevard San Luis. The accident resulted in four passenger injuries and left the bus driver trapped inside the vehicle. Emergency responders, including the Mexican Red Cross and firefighters, were deployed to the scene. Preliminary reports indicate the driver may have failed to maintain proper speed or distance.
