Soledad de Graciano Sánchez ramps up flood relief and launches new commercial corridor

Municipal authorities in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, San Luis Potosí, deployed 25 civil‑protection personnel and all operational units to monitor, prevent and respond to heavy rains that caused up to 50 cm of water accumulation in several neighborhoods. The response included tree‑fall clean‑up, water‑level monitoring, drainage work with a vactor, and assistance to families whose homes suffered minor damage.

At the same time, the municipal government, led by Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz, inaugurated a new administrative building on Avenida San Pedro and completed concrete‑paved streets in adjacent colonies. The development, together with the Teatro y Centro Cultural “Doroteo Arango,” is being promoted as a new commercial corridor that should attract investment, create jobs and improve services for residents.

Both initiatives are presented as part of a broader effort to strengthen public safety and stimulate economic activity in the municipality.
