Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Mobilizes Soledad de Graciano Sánchez for Rain Emergency and Free Funeral Aid

Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz activated the municipal Emergency Plan for heavy rains in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez. Municipal crews worked through the night clearing drainage, cleaning streets and restoring traffic flow before sunrise. The operation covered neighborhoods such as San Jorge, Privadas, Quintas de la Hacienda and others, with the Civil Guard monitoring road safety. Preventive work continues as more rain is forecast.

The municipal Services Directorate also provides free funeral services to low‑income families. Led by Antonio Zamarripa Quintero, the program covers burial costs, cemetery plots and dignified handling of remains in the Panteón Municipal "El Señor de la Misericordia". It aims to reduce the economic burden on vulnerable households. As one official said, "esto es testimonio fiel de un gobierno cercano que no deja sola a su gente cuando más lo necesita".
