Solomon Adeola unveils nine-pillar development agenda for Ogun State
Senator Solomon Adeola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Ogun State, has unveiled a nine-pillar development agenda titled ‘ITESIWAJU for Ogun State’. During a visit to the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) secretariat in Abeokuta, Adeola presented the framework, which he described as a meticulously crafted plan to address state needs rather than a mere tool for seeking power.
The ‘ITESIWAJU’ acronym stands for Infrastructure, Tourism and Culture, Economic Empowerment, Security and Welfare, Inclusive Growth and Well-being, Women, Youth and Poverty Eradication, Agriculture and Food Security, Job Creation and Industrialisation, and Urbanisation and Transparency. Adeola emphasized the importance of policy continuity, citing Lagos State as a model for how successive administrations can build upon previous achievements to drive growth.
In response to the visit, IPAC Chairman Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu cautioned all governorship candidates against using inflammatory rhetoric or personal attacks that could destabilize the state ahead of the 2027 elections. He urged aspirants to focus on issue-based campaigns and clear manifestos. Adeola also called on opposing candidates to engage in substantive political discourse rather than focusing on frivolities.
