Solomon Olamilekan Adeola unveils 2027 Ogun State governorship agenda

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has unveiled a nine-point agenda as he prepares for the 2027 Ogun State governorship race. Representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adeola expressed his intention to consolidate the industrial, infrastructural, and economic foundations established by the current administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun. While promising continuity in key sectors such as aviation, agriculture, and maritime development, Adeola stated he would also introduce new policies and improvements where existing approaches are deemed inadequate.

In the Ogun West Senatorial District, a new coalition of young politicians has emerged to support Adeola’s candidacy. Operating under groups such as the Yayi Youth Vanguard, Ogun Youths Pacesetters, and the Yayi Grassroot Alliance, these organizers aim to mobilize a significant youth vote across the Yewaland region. The movement, described as the ‘Yewa Youth Project,’ seeks to leverage grassroots mobilization from the local government level to secure victory in the upcoming election.
