Somvati Amavasya, a rare Hindu observance when the new moon (Amavasya) falls on a Monday, will be celebrated on Monday, 15 June 2026. According to Panchang calculations, the Amavasya tithi begins at 12:19 PM IST on 14 June and ends at 8:23 AM IST on 15 June, making the sunrise of the 15th the primary time for rituals.
