SONAR poll shows high voter indecision in Turkey
A recent election poll conducted by SONAR Research reveals a significant portion of the Turkish electorate remains undecided. According to the survey, 33.1% of participants either did not specify a political party preference, identified as undecided, or stated they would not vote in an election.
SONAR President Hakan Bayrakçı noted that the high level of voter hesitation is unprecedented in his 38 years of political research, stating that such data makes predicting election outcomes nearly impossible.
Before distributing the undecided votes, the AKP recorded 19.8% and the Yeni Parti recorded 18.8%. After the proportional distribution of the undecided group, the AKP's support rose to 29.7%, followed by the Yeni Parti at 28.2% and the İYİ Party at 10.9%.
