Many online users criticized her weight gain and compared her current look to her previous modeling and acting career.

Actor Hrithik Roshan showed solidarity by liking a social media post defending her, while actress Sonarika Bhadoria slammed the trolls, stating that a woman’s postpartum body ‘doesn’t owe anyone an explanation.’ Former MP and actress Ramya also criticized the concept of a woman’s ‘prime’ being tied to her physical appearance, arguing that a woman remains in her prime through her strength, wisdom, and happiness.
