Sonia Rajdan Calls for Accountability Amid Nationwide NEET Paper Leak Protests

Sonia Rajdan, mother of actress Alia Bhatt, reacted on Instagram to the countrywide student demonstrations sparked by the NEET exam paper leak and other examination issues. She urged the government to listen to students, demand accountability from institutions, and ensure a fair, transparent testing system.

Rajdan praised education minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s initiatives such as the National Education Policy, digitalisation of education and focus on vocational and basic education, while emphasizing that the protests are not about calling for a minister’s resignation but about safeguarding the integrity of exams. She warned against political exploitation of the movement and expressed solidarity with the protesting youth.
