Sonora mobile clinics provide free sterilization for dog Firula
The government of Sonora, through the Secretaría de Salud Pública and mobile preventive health clinics, offered free sterilization to Firula, a dog owned by 75‑year‑old María Guadalupe Ajeola Ruiz in the Benito Juárez municipality. The procedure, performed in the community of Jecopaco, aims to improve the animal’s health and curb uncontrolled breeding of dogs and cats.
The mobile clinics will continue a scheduled outreach tour: June 9 in Bacanora’s public plaza, June 10 in Sahuaripa’s municipal sports complex, June 17 in Magdalena, June 18 in Los Tanques (Álamos), and June 19 in Rosales (Navojoa), providing preventive health services to residents of remote localities.
