Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, a 4‑v‑4 superhero tag‑team fighter from Arc System Works, is slated for release on August 6 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic). Data from SteamDB shows the game will be unavailable for purchase in 132 countries because a PlayStation Network (PSN) account is required for cross‑play, and PSN cannot be created in those regions. The blocked territories include nations across Africa, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean such as Egypt, Nigeria, Vietnam, Cuba, Pakistan, Iran, Belarus and Jamaica.

The restriction mirrors the 2024 Helldivers 2 controversy, when Sony briefly required a PSN link and pulled the title from dozens of markets before reversing the policy after backlash. Sony has not issued an official statement for Marvel Tokon, but community speculation points to the same mandatory‑linking approach. The limitation could affect players’ ability to join upcoming EVO 2027 events in locations like Morocco, which is among the blocked regions.
