Sony Bravia home theater and television products reviewed

Sony's Bravia lineup continues to expand its presence in the high-end home entertainment market. The new Bravia Theatre Trio is a modular audio setup designed for large living spaces, featuring a compact center channel bar and two tall, cylindrical front speakers with integrated up-firing drivers. Positioned at a premium price point, the system is designed to be expandable with additional subwoofers and rear satellite modules to achieve peak theatrical performance.

In the television sector, the Sony Bravia 8 II remains a highly competitive model, previously recognized as a Product of the Year. While it continues to perform strongly against various OLED and Mini LED rivals, it faces significant competition from Samsung's flagship QD-OLED, the S99H (known as the S95H in most regions outside the UK). The Samsung model features a unique floating panel design with a wide metal bezel, though it has faced criticism regarding its aesthetic when used on a standard TV stand and the removal of the One Connect box found in previous flagship models.
