On 30 July, the rollout reached India via Lotus Electronics, which introduced the series at its Indore flagship showroom. By early August, Sony India expanded the lineup with the 115-inch Bravia 9 II—the largest TV released by the company in India—priced at ₹45,99,900 (with a best-buy price of ₹28,99,990).

By late August, Sony clarified its technology strategy, noting that while the “True RGB” branding applies to flagship LED LCD models using three independently controlled red, green, and blue diodes, the company remains committed to a diverse range of displays including OLED and QD-OLED. To expand its OLED reach, Sony officially launched the Bravia 6 OLED series, a mid-range option available in sizes from 48 to 83 inches.

By early September, industry developments highlighted a broader shift toward specialized RGB LED architectures. Sony’s Bravia 9 II utilizes this system to provide superior color accuracy and scalability, allowing for screen sizes ranging from 50 to 115 inches, which bypasses the size limitations typically associated with OLED panels.
