Sony launches Olive Gray colour for WH-1000XM6 headphones

Sony announced a new Olive Gray finish for its flagship WH-1000XM6 noise‑cancelling headphones. The colourway, described as a muted earth tone, is a purely aesthetic change; the device retains the QN3 processor, 30‑hour battery life, and all other technical specifications. Prices remain the same as existing finishes – US $399.99, €449, and AED 1,699 in the United Arab Emirates – with the new shade expected to appear alongside other colours across the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Mahesh Kodoth, General Manager for Personal Entertainment at Sony Middle East and Africa, said the region is “one of the most diverse and dynamic markets globally” and that the Olive Gray option follows the success of previous colour launches. The product is also listed for Austria, with availability from August 2026.

The launch does not affect performance or features; it is intended to offer consumers a subtle, natural‑inspired design alternative to the traditional black, silver and other colour options.
