Sony launches ULT TOWER speaker lineup

Sony has launched its new ULT POWER SOUND speaker lineup, featuring the ULT TOWER MAX, ULT TOWER 7, and ULT TOWER 5. The series is designed for parties, DJ sets, and karaoke, with a focus on deep bass and high sound pressure.

The flagship ULT TOWER MAX delivers up to 2,150 watts of power and utilizes three large woofers. The ULT TOWER 7 offers up to 420 watts and provides up to 30 hours of battery life, while the compact ULT TOWER 5 provides 300 watts and up to 20 hours of battery life. Both the 7 and 5 models feature an IPX4 water resistance rating when used vertically.

Key features across the range include the ULT button with two bass modes, new FLAT and LIVE sound profiles, and sound-field optimization known as 360° Party Sound on the MAX and TOWER 7 models. Connectivity options include XLR, RCA, and USB-C, with Auracast technology allowing multiple compatible speakers to sync via Party Chain. The product development involved collaboration with hip-hop producers to optimize low-frequency performance.
