Sony and Sonos expand premium wireless headphone lineups

Sony and Sonos are expanding their premium wireless headphone portfolios with new models and refreshed lineups. Sony has introduced updates to its 1000X series, including the WH-1000XM6 and the WH-1000XM4C, the latter of which features updated sound tuning and new color options. Sony is also expanding its mid-range offerings with the WH-CH730N and the WH-CH530, alongside a limited edition Hello Kitty collaboration.

Sonos has released the Ace Ultra, a high-end model noted for its Wi-Fi ecosystem integration, Dolby Atmos capabilities, and superior battery life compared to competitors. While the Ace Ultra is positioned as a premium device, the standard Sonos Ace model has seen significant price reductions during recent sales events, making it a more accessible option for many consumers.
