Sony releases premium WH-1000X The Collexion edition

Sony has released the WH-1000X The Collexion, a special collector's edition of its popular WH-1000XM series. This edition focuses on premium design and high-quality materials for the headband and ear pads, aiming to offer a more luxurious feel than the standard XM5 or XM6 models. While the build quality is noted as excellent and comfortable for long periods, the audio reproduction and active noise cancellation (ANC) do not significantly outperform the standard models, and the price is nearly double that of the regular series.

Separately, the Sony WF-1000XM5 wireless earbuds are seeing significant price reductions. Originally launched at 319 euros, they have been found at prices around 162 euros, representing a discount of nearly 50%. These earbuds feature the V2 processor and QN2e noise-cancelling chip, offering IPX4 water resistance, 8-hour battery life per charge, and support for LDAC and 360 Reality Audio.
