Sony updates headphone lineup with WH-1000XM4C revival and new entry-level models
Sony is updating its audio lineup with several headphone models ranging from entry-level to premium tiers.
The entry-level WH-CH530 features Bluetooth 6.0, LE Audio, and Auracast, offering up to 55 hours of battery life. While it lacks active noise cancellation (ANC) and a charging cable in the box, it provides improved microphone performance over its predecessor.
For the premium segment, Sony has revived the popular WH-1000XM4 as the WH-1000XM4C. This refreshed version maintains the original's foldable design but introduces updated speaker tuning for punchier bass and clearer vocals, alongside a 10-band equalizer and a dedicated Gaming EQ. It offers approximately 27 hours of battery life with ANC enabled.
Additionally, the high-end WH-1000XX “The Collexion” remains a top-tier option, featuring a stainless steel and vegan leather build, carbon composite drivers, and the Integrated Processor V3. This model supports spatial surround sound and Bluetooth 6.0.
