Sooraj Pancholi denies links to Disha Salian death case

Actor Sooraj Pancholi has issued a statement addressing his involvement in the investigation into the death of Disha Salian. Following a direction from the Bombay High Court, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a First Information Report (FIR) regarding the 2020 case.

Pancholi stated on social media that he has never met Salian or Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, either directly or indirectly. He expressed frustration over being linked to the matter and reported receiving online abuse and death threats due to the renewed scrutiny.

Pancholi emphasized that he has nothing to hide and is willing to face any legal consequences if evidence is found, but he urged investigating agencies to conduct a thorough probe and clearly communicate if he is found to have no connection to the case. The FIR includes several individuals, including Pancholi, Thackeray, Rohan Roy, and Rhea Chakraborty, for investigation.
