SOPY Patras holds mental health awareness events

The Association for Mental Health (SOPY) Patras held a two-day event on October 16 and 17, 2026, to mark World Mental Health Day. Co-organized with the Region of Western Greece and supported by the Municipality of Patras, the initiative focused on awareness, prevention, and psychosocial rehabilitation.

The program included the 2nd Musical Walk for Mental Health, featuring the percussion group ‘KroustAlites’ and students from the 5th Evening Vocational High School of Patras. The event also involved residents and caregivers from the ‘PSYCHARGOS’ Psychosocial Rehabilitation Unit of the University General Hospital of Patras. The activities aimed to promote social inclusion and combat the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
