Barracão municipality launches free rabies vaccination for dogs and cats on July 11

The municipal government of Barracão will hold a free rabies vaccination campaign for dogs and cats on July 11. The service will be provided at the Gymnasium of Escola Eurilemo from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is organized in partnership with Instituto Água e Terra and the Programa Castrapet. The campaign aims to increase protection for domestic animals and to prevent rabies transmission to humans. Residents are instructed to bring their pets on leashes, collars or in appropriate transport carriers. Vaccination will be administered at no cost to the public.
