Sorocaba City Hall completes maintenance drive in North Zone
The Sorocaba City Hall has completed a series of maintenance and public service actions in the Ana Paula Eleutério and Jardim Renascer neighborhoods in the North Zone. The initiative, which began on August 26, aimed to improve the region and facilitate resident access to public services.
Various municipal departments participated in the effort. The Secretariats of Public Services and Works (Serpo), Environment (Sema), and the Water and Sewage Autonomous Service (Saae) conducted tasks such as grass cutting, tree pruning, debris removal, and cleaning of drains and manholes. Additionally, the Secretariat of Mobility (Semob) revitalized traffic signaling, including repainting lanes, pedestrian crossings, and bus stops.
Beyond infrastructure maintenance, the city provided mobile service units to residents. These included medical services through ‘Médico na Praça’, employment assistance via ‘Van do Emprego’, and legal and consumer protection services through Procon Móvel and Concilia Sorocaba. Other offerings included social assistance, tax services, and environmental education activities.
