Sota Fukushi stars in new mystery drama Hide and Seek

The new Nippon TV Sunday drama ‘Hide and Seek: 0-Byo Mae no Kanojo’ is set to premiere on October 4. Starring Sota Fukushi, the series is a love mystery based on the novel by Masahiro Imamura.

Fukushi plays Yuichi Tsukura, a freelance journalist who becomes a fugitive after being framed for a bomb terror incident. While hiding in Busan, South Korea, he receives a mysterious phone call from his lover, Sana, who was believed to have died in the explosion. The story follows his journey back to Japan to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy and his lover’s disappearance.

Supporting cast members include Juri Tanaka of SixTONES, who portrays Hyodo Makoto, the leader of a political group called ‘Live Commons,’ and Tetta Sugimoto, who appears in the first episode as Tsukura’s uncle.
