South Aegean Region announces 60% business subsidies

A new entrepreneurship support program for the South Aegean Region will open for applications from August 28, 2026, until October 30, 2026. The program offers a 60% subsidy for investment plans with budgets ranging from €30,000 to €400,000.

The initiative aims to upgrade existing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), develop new products or services, and enhance competitiveness and international presence within the Cyclades and Dodecanese islands. Priority sectors include experience tourism, agri-food, fisheries, the blue economy, renewable energy sources (RES), information and communication technologies (ICT), green technologies, and innovative services.

To be eligible, SMEs must operate exclusively within the South Aegean Region and meet specific criteria, including at least two full closed fiscal years and at least one annual unit of dependent employment for 2025.
