South American business forums focus on regional investment strategies

Business leaders and economists are organizing forums to evaluate investment landscapes in South America. In Argentina, ABECEB is hosting an annual forum titled ‘Geopolitics, Strategy and Leadership’ to help companies determine if 2026 is an appropriate time for investment. The event will analyze Argentina’s global positioning, macroeconomic trends, and opportunities in sectors such as energy, agriculture, mining, and technology.

In Peru, the Colombian Business Council (CEC) has announced EXPOCEC 2026, an event designed to foster business alliances and investments between Peru and Colombia. Colombian investments in Peru reached US$25 billion by 2025, making Colombia the fourth-largest foreign investor in the country. The forum will highlight Peruvian investment opportunities, including energy, mining, sanitation, and transport, with a potential public-private partnership portfolio exceeding US$62.8 billion.
