South Kalimantan cities receive regional governance and investment awards

During the 76th anniversary celebrations of South Kalimantan province, the Banjarmasin City Government received two major awards. The Alalak Selatan Village was named the best village in the province for 2026, recognized for its achievements in governance, public service, and community empowerment.

Additionally, Banjarmasin ranked third in the category of cities with the highest investment realization in South Kalimantan for 2025. These honors were presented by Governor H. Muhidin to Vice Mayor Hj. Ananda.

In a separate achievement, the Banjarbaru City Government received two top honors at the 2026 KPPN Awards from the Banjarmasin State Treasury Service Office (KPPN). Banjarbaru was recognized for having the best physical DAK distribution in 2025 and the best DAU distribution for the first semester of 2026. Mayor Hj. Erna Lisa Halaby attributed these awards to the administration's commitment to accountable and transparent financial management.
