South Korea announces artists for Eurovision Asia 2026 selection

South Korean broadcaster ENA has announced the eight competing acts and songs for ‘Korea’s Next Wave’, the national selection process to determine the country’s first representative for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026.

The competition is scheduled to take place on September 4, 2026. The eight participating artists include 9278, Angel Noise, huiAe, JUNHEE, KIK, PLZY, Sojeong Shim, and Younghoon Ji. The lineup features a mix of emerging talent and established names, such as former A.C.E member Junhee and K-pop artist Wooseok performing under the project KIK.

The winner will represent the Republic of Korea at the Eurovision Song Contest Asia Grand Final, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 14, 2026. South Korea is one of eleven confirmed participating nations in this first major multi-country expansion of the Eurovision format into Asia.
