South Korean drama ‘Kim Bu‑jang’ leads Netflix non‑English TV chart in 22 countries

SBS’s Saturday‑Sunday drama ‘Kim Bu‑jang’ has become the top‑ranked non‑English series on Netflix for two consecutive weeks, according to the platform’s Tudum global Top 10 list. The show held the #1 spot in 22 territories—including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Qatar, Thailand, Singapore, Bolivia and Peru—and placed within the Top 10 in a total of 72 countries.

In South Korea the series continues to break viewership records, with episode 6 drawing a Nielsen Korea nationwide rating of 22.3% and a peak 26.4% in the Seoul metropolitan area, the highest for the series to date. The programme’s growing popularity is reflected in both its domestic ratings and its expanding global streaming audience, highlighting the strength of Korean content on international platforms.
