South Korean food companies showcase products at SIAL Paris 2026

South Korean food companies and industry organizations are expanding their presence at the SIAL Paris 2026 international food exhibition in France. The Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) attended the event from the 17th to the 19th to identify new supply sources and observe global food trends. KOIMA President Yoon Young-mi met with SIAL Paris Director General Jean-Gabriel Molard to discuss ways to increase exchange between Korean importers and international food companies.

Simultaneously, the food company Samlip operated a dedicated booth titled ‘K-Dessert Atelier,’ showcasing approximately 40 types of Korean traditional and modern bakery products, including hotteok, hoppang, and yakgwa. Samlip’s efforts to blend traditional ingredients with modern technology, such as kimchi-flavored hoppang and yakbap burritos, resulted in four of its product lines being selected for the ‘SIAL Innovation Selection.’
