South Korean institutions partner to stabilize blood supplies
Various South Korean medical and educational institutions are entering into agreements to stabilize blood supplies and promote a culture of blood donation.
Sahmyook Seoul Hospital has signed a business agreement with the Seoul Eastern Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross. The partnership aims to ensure a stable supply of blood and spread the value of life-sharing within the community. As part of this initiative, the hospital held a ‘Love Blood Donation Relay’ event, where 60 employees participated in voluntary donations to assist patients facing treatment difficulties due to blood shortages.
In a separate effort, the Chungbuk Blood Center has partnered with Catholic Flower Village University to encourage regular blood donation among students and faculty. The collaboration includes various campaigns designed to foster a supportive atmosphere for donation within the university to help secure a consistent blood supply for the region.
